Rules

All fabrics must be used from stash - if you purchase anything to go with something you already have to make whatever then the purchased piece doesn't count. Only what is in the stash as of last night 4/11/07 11:59 pm your own time zone. Points = 1 yard/1 point

Any notions at all used on the item from stash will count if purchasing again will not count. Points = 1 point per type (type = rick rack, piping, buttons, lace, snaps, etc.)

Any hand sewing of hems or seams done on item counts. Points = 1 per item

Any smocking done on item counts. Points = 1 per row

Any machine embroidery or applique counts if designs have already been in your own library or doing by hand with sewing machine. Points = 1 per design

Any shadow embroidery counts. Points = 5 per item

Any fancy sewing machine stitching counts. Points = 5 per item

Pattern if used from stash counts. Points = 1

Pictures with descriptions of items used from stash and point total per item must be submitted to myself. You can email them or use the forum private message to send to me.

CC Amy unsmocked with 2 1/2  yards total of cow material, pink gingham for lining, piping and sash.  False hem done in cow print and hand sewn in hem.  Rick rack in hot pink too.

Then with 1/2 yard total of leftover fabric (cows on the outside and pink gingham for the lining) I made her Kristen's Sun Dress pattern for medium purse with hot pink rick rack.  Total=9 pts

Cynthia ~

The dressy flamingo is from Embroidery Garden.  They are matching sister outfits using pale pink pique for the tops, hot pink pique for the bottoms, and lined in white broadcloth.  The pattern for the top is Holly and the pants are CC Lettie (shortened).  I used lime green rick rack and covered buttons.  Everything is from my stash.

Green seersucker top and shorts.  The top  is MP aline shortened with a pleated ruffle added. New Look 6112 pants shortened.  I used 1.25 yards of seersucker and 1/2 yard broadcloth to line the top.  The ME is one built into my machine and I also used 3/4 yd of ric rac and 2  covered buttons. Everything including patterns is from stash.  Total=7 pts

MP aline--2/3 yard print and 1/3 yd pink for facings and ric rack and 4 buttons.  Total=4 pts

The top is Holly and the pants are Lettie.  The fabric is turquoise 
gingham with white broadcloth lining.  The top used 3/4 yd of the 
gingham and 3/4 yd for lining.  The pants used 5/8 yd plus 1/8 yd for 
the ruffle.  Buttons are covered buttons.  The appliqué is from Sew 
Many Designs.  All of this is from my stash.  Total=7 pts

The top is pink pique lined with white broadcloth using the Holly pattern.  The ME is from Martha's Mini Collection (Flip Flops) and the A is Empire Arts. The panties are CC Frannie Baby and the shorts are CC Lettie (both of pink pique).  Everything is from my stash!  Top used 1/2 yard pique + 1/2 yard lining = 1 point  Panties used 1/2 yard and shorts used 1/2 yard = 1 point ME on Top = 1 point Buttons = 1 point Patterns = 1 point Total Points = 5 points

CC Kitty for Sydney's dress.  ME is Empire font. It used 2 1/4 fabric.  Lined and ruffle done with white broadcloth.  Pagoda pink for piping and 4 buttons used.

Purse is Kristen's Sun dress medium purse with 1/2 yd. fabric and ME is Curls Font.  Total = 9 pts.

This is stretch poplin I got in Vegas a couple of weeks ago at Joann's.  New Look 6843 for skirt for me.  1 1/4 yd. fabric.  1 button.  1 zipper. 1 hand sewn hem.  Total= 5 pts.

This is pj's made from Carebears fabric I bought last summer.  Simplicity 8488 for top and CC Jackson bloomers for bottoms. 2 yards fabric, 1 button, elastic, and yellow bias tape around neck.  Total= 7 points

I used the CC Johnny pattern for the Jon-Jon made with seersucker fabric and lined with white broadcloth.  The appliqué design is from 
Shari Marie.  I just had to try using the clear vinyl on top of the jar.  It was fun doing something different. This is my experimental 
outfit.  I'm going to wash and dry the outfit to see how the vinyl holds up.  I'm sure it will be history if an iron touches it!  Everything except the appliqué design is from my stash.
